WHAT THE SERIES IS ABOUT
The series “Since You Asked…” is an education / information series for family* members of someone who has mental health and/or substance use concerns. We invite all family members – those whose loved ones receive VCH MHSU services and those who do not – to come and learn about the topic at hand and bring relevant questions for the presenters to answer!
The intention is for family members to understand the MHSU system better.

Accessing and using Car 87: what it is, where, when and why to call and what to expect from this service!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your presenter will provide a presentation for approximately 20-30 minutes.
There will be an open Question & Answer period for the remaining time.
A family peer presenter, who has experience with Car 87, will be part of the presentation and the Q&A section.
This format may change depending on the topic and the interest it generates.
We will have group guidelines in place.
We ask that you arrive no more than 15 minutes late so as not to disrupt the session.
