Peer Support Worker Contract Opportunity

Duration of Placement: 6-month initial contract with potential to renew

Pay and Hours: $23.00 per hour, Monday to Wednesday, up to 100 hours per month

Location of Work: 312 Main Street, Vancouver, BC.

Additional worksites may include (but not limited to): withdrawal management sites, recovery groups, hospital and other health care settings, shelters, and supportive or subsidized housing environments.

SSU Engage is a multidisciplinary outreach-based team that works with clients seeking substance use support. We help clients overcome barriers to their recovery goals, and facilitate substance use care plans.

As a Peer Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in helping people in recovery build connections, resiliency, and wellness through outreach and accompaniment support, goal setting and relationship building, collaboration with other team members, and thoughtful sharing of recovery experiences and knowledge.
