Who we’re seeking
The Psychiatric Assessment Unit (PAU) leadership is looking for family members of loved ones who:
- Have been to PAU within the last 5 years
- Are comfortable sharing feedback based on their personal experience
- Are interested in improving patient and family information and supports
- Able to review documents online
The request
VCH is inviting family members and supporters of individuals with lived experience to review and provide feedback the draft PAU Patient and Family Handbook. Feedback will help ensure the materials are clear, respectful, trauma‑informed, and meaningful for patients and families.
The feedback form is designed for participants to share what works, what’s missing, and what could be improved from a family member’s perspective.
Participants will receive a $25 honorarium for one hour of their time in recognition of their time and contributions.
