We are seeking individuals with lived experience in mental health and substance use to propose, develop, and lead community projects.

CIF Call for Proposals is open twice per year, in the Spring and Fall and offers funding of:

  • 6-Month Project – up to $4000
  • 12-Month Project – up to $8000

CIF projects refer a range of services that are run by peers, for peers and offer a valuable service to the community. Peers with lived experience bring valuable insight into which initiatives are most beneficial for other peers.

Participation in this initiative fosters inclusion, community connection, opportunities for personal growth, and the public can take part in project activities for free!
