Take this opportunity to provide your experience and knowledge to the national standards!

Selina who is a PhD student, Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Edmonton is working on this project with us.  She is particularly interested in hearing from family members of people with lived experience (who will receive a $50 gift card), staff from mental health organizations, and mental health policy makers.
Title of Study: Validation of the Canadian psychosocial rehabilitation competency document: A Delphi Study (U of A Ethics ID: Pro00130879)

In this research, we aim to create a validated competency framework for psychosocial rehabilitation in Canada.

We would like to invite you to a focus group to discuss your experience with psychosocial rehabilitation in Canada, and get your input on competencies related to PSR. Afterwards, we will create the draft competency document from the results of the group discussions.

Then you can participate in two rounds of online questionnaires to get your input on these competency statements. The focus group will take about 1.5 hours on Zoom. The online questionnaires will take about 1 hour each, for a total of about 2 hours

Results from this study will directly help improve the quality of psychosocial rehabilitation services in Canada, and will benefit service users, providers, and organizations.

If you want to be part of the future and have your say, please contact Selina at sjfan@ualberta.ca.
