π’New Workshop Alert
Event Details
Peer facilitators lead this 2-hour workshop designed to help participants recognize unhelpful thinking patterns, explore the impact of the inner critic, and develop practical skills for reframing thoughts in a more helpful and empowering way. Research suggests that our thoughts influence how we feel, behave, and respond to life’s challenges. Learning to identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts can help build resilience, self-compassion, and emotional well-being.
Learn how to:
- Recognize common unhelpful thinking patterns and cognitive distortions
- Identify and better understand your inner critic
- Challenge self-critical thoughts using evidence-based strategies
- Reframe unhelpful thoughts into more balanced and compassionate perspectives
- Use practical tools to strengthen positive self-talk and resilience
*Includes a visualization activity and a guided mindfulness meditationΒ to support self-awareness, reflection, and personal growth.
Created in partnership with CMHA College Manitoba and Winnipeg.
