Canadian Peer Support Research Opportunity!

Are you interested in chatting about peer support on a podcast, and contributing to peer support research?
Hello,
My name is Allison Dunning. I am conducting research about the experiences, strengths, and needs of peer support workers in Canada. This study is part of my Graduate Diploma in Community-Based Research and Evaluation at McMaster University’s School of Social Work in Hamilton, Ontario, and I am working under the supervision of Dr. Mary-Elizabeth Vaccaro from the School of Social Work at McMaster University.
I’m inviting you to apply to participate in this study. To express your interest, you will be asked to complete a short demographic survey, which will help ensure we recruit a diverse group of participants.
Selected participants will then take part in a 60-minute online group “storyboarding” session and a 30–45 minute one-on-one podcast interview conducted via Zoom, and an optional online 90-minute group debrief session for a total time commitment of approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes. Participants will receive an honorarium for their time.
To be eligible, you must be 18 years of age or older and currently working as a peer support worker in Canada.
For the full details of the study, please read the Letter of Information.
