Event Details
Peer facilitators lead this 2-hour workshop designed to deepen understanding of grief and loss and introduce supportive coping strategies. Research suggests that understanding the grief process can help normalize reactions and reduce feelings of isolation. Learning practical ways to care for oneself during grief can also support healthy adjustment over time.
In this workshop you will learn to:
- Strengthen resilience by learning supportive steps and self‑care practices for navigating life after loss
- Identify strategies for communicating needs while grieving
- Understand the Five Stages of Grief and the Four Tasks of Mourning
- Recognize common grief reactions, symptoms, and emotional patterns
*Includes a guided writing activity to help participants explore compassionate and practical ways to support themselves throughout the grieving process.
