Curious about expanding your anti-oppressive and peer-based facilitation skills? Join us for 3 interactive, virtual workshops from July 16th – 27th. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, these sessions are designed to be inclusive and accessible to all. We highly recommend registering for the entire series if you are able.

Our approach is grounded in intersectional and decolonial values. If you are new to PeerNetBC workshops, we recommend registering in the foundational “Planting the Seeds of Anti-Oppression” session to learn more about why we use these frameworks.

Our workshops are small (capped at 15 participants) and grounded in peer-based learning, interactive activities, and group discussions. While we are happy to accommodate a variety of access needs and ways of participating, the workshops are highly interactive rather than a more passive (webinar) format. If you are no longer able to attend a workshop, please let us know by emailing alexa@peernetbc.com so that we can let someone else in from the waitlist.

For more information on our facilitators please go here.

Systemic imbalances of power exist in our society. Recognizing how these imbalances influence group dynamics is an important skill for facilitators,  group members, and community members at large. Through a blend of discussion and experiential learning, participants will reflect on their personal relationship to power and have an opportunity to broaden their perspectives on accessibility, allyship, inclusion, power, privilege, and how to move forward together.
