Insanity: The Mental Health Crisis – Film Screening & Panel
When: Tuesday, September 16, 2025, doors open at 5:45PM
Where: Red Fish Healing Centre (Unit 8, 2745 Lougheed Highway, Coquitlam, BC)
Join us for an in-person screening and panel discussion of Insanity: The Mental Health Crisis, a documentary about director Wendy Hill-Tout and her family’s experience navigating her brother’s schizophrenia and disappearance 25 years ago. This film also details the experience of her own family and others as they navigate Canada’s mental health system.
Following the screening, we are bringing a panel of subject matter experts who will engage in a panel discussion, offering insights and their experiences to discuss how the justice and healthcare systems could provide additional support for these vulnerable communities. We will be announcing the members of the panel closer to the event.
