Event Details
Peer facilitators lead this 2-hour workshop designed to help you cultivate feelings of compassion and support with your self and others. Research suggests that increasing momentary feelings of comfort by thinking about supportive relationships can make us more trusting, compassionate, and helpful toward others in general.
Learn how to:
- Identify supports and supportive qualities in your life
- Nurture feelings of comfort to feel supported and compassionate towards self and others
- Explain why trust and comfort are important for well-being
**Includes a guided visualization exercise aimed at recalling and internalizing the feeling of being supported.
Co-produced with a team of Peer Advisors and adapted from the Feeling Supported practice in the Greater Good Toolkit (A collaboration between Holstee and the Greater Good Science Center).
