Hours of Service: 7:30 am – 9:30 pm, 365 days a year

The mental health and substance use urgent care and referral centre for Vancouver residents 17 yrs and up. An alternative to the Emergency department and a way to access other VCH mental health and substance use services. Refer to this brochure for more information about the program’s criteria and services.

Provides intervention to individuals in the community for mental health or emergency situations.  Staff respond to calls from police, health care professionals, clients, family members and the general public.

Distress Phone Services which provide confidential, non-judgmental, free emotional support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for people experiencing feelings of distress or despair.
