DBT Project Advisory Committee

OUR PROJECT: The Vancouver Division of Family Practice is undertaking a new project to help Primary Health Care Providers better support their patients with emotional dysregulation, as well as helping to improve providers understanding of the current system and access to Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) services in Vancouver.

JOIN OUR COMMITTEE: We are recruiting a Patient Partner who has lived experience with mild to moderate emotional dysregulation and experience with DBT or other mental health services in Vancouver to join our project advisory committee. Think about applying for this committee if you have:
• Commitment: Willingness and availability to commit to the project and its duration
• Communication Skills: Ability to articulate thoughts and provide constructive feedback
• Collaboration: Willingness to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders

The committee will meet formally every few months (September, December & March) with potential additional meetings and discussions as needed. Meeting dates and times are to be determined. Meetings will happen over video conference and in-person. An honorarium will be provided to support participation.
