A Fun Intro to Improv

In this 7 week course have fun with your new improv family while you discover your own spontaneity and talent for storytelling. Overcome fear, embrace positivity, and learn to inspire others, as we perform group improv games. Just bring your imagination.

Free and open to individuals with lived/living experience of mental health and/or substance use challenges – past or present (such as anxiety or depression). 2 groups of classes are available starting in September and November.

    Classes are taught by Cass who has many years of experience teaching improv workshops, including at the Roundhouse Community Centre, the Royal Academy of Film and Media, and the MPA Society.

    • Open to those in Vancouver with lived/living experience of mental health and/or substance use challenges
    • Participation is free
    • All levels of theatre/improv experience are welcome
    • Registration is required
