UBC Health Mentors Program Recruitment Now Open!

The UBC Health Mentors program is looking for volunteer Health Mentors (or caregivers) who live with a chronic illness to share their healthcare expertise with new UBC healthcare students to help them learn about patient-centered care.

The program starts in September 2023 and runs until May 2024. Mentors should live in the lower mainland and be interested in working with small groups of students.

The Health Mentors program is committed to the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion. We welcome applications from visible minority group members, Indigenous persons, persons of minority sexual orientations and gender identities, and others with the skills and knowledge to engage with health professional students.
