CIF Art Grant

The CIF Art Grant provides an opportunity for artists to purchase art supplies. This $85 grant is offered 4 times per year. Eligible applicants are selected by random draw. Vancouver residents who are consumers of mental health and/or substance use services are encouraged to apply.

How to Apply

Eligibility

The following 4 criteria must be met:

  1. Adult (18+) with lived/living experience of mental health and/or substance use challenges
  2. Resident of the City of Vancouver
  3. Have a specific art project in mind
  4. Have not received this grant within the last 2 years

Application Form

Option 1: Download the CIF Art Grant Application Form, save a copy to your computer, and fill it in digitally

 

Option 2: Print the CIF Art Grant Application Form and fill it in by hand

When to Apply

The CIF Art Grant is open 4 times a year, typically in the Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall

Applications are accepted up until 12 midnight on the deadline date

Selection Process

All applications are reviewed

Qualified applicants are randomly selected in a draw

The draw takes place the week after the deadline

All applicants are notified of the result by email or phone

Payment

Grants are issued by cheque and mailed to recipients

Payments can take up to 4 weeks to be received
