Tie Dye Workshop

Tie dye is the process of taking non-synthetic fibers and permanently altering the colours, creating multicoloured swirls and patterns. In this workshop, participants will learn different tie dye techniques then each create a unique garment or tote bag they can bring home with them*.

Supplies provided! Participation is free!
Masks mandatory! No experiences necessary! 
 
The Roundhouse has gender neutral accessible washroom access and wheelchair accessible entrances, room will have sink access.

*Due to the time required for the dye to set, we will offer post-workshop options for participants:
– Bring home your items in a watertight bag and wash + dry it yourself
– Arrange to pick it their project from the NAC at our studio or during another session; we will wash and dry for you


This workshop is part of Neurodiversity in Art, a series of workshops and casual hangouts that center neurodivergent experiences, foster community, and nurture art skills. It is open to neurodivergent artists in Vancouver with lived/living experience of mental health and/or substance use challenges.
