Peer Selection Committee – Spring 2025

Who are we?

The Consumer Initiative Fund (CIF) funds projects that are proposed, managed, and led by people with lived/living experience of mental health and/or substance use challenges. CIF projects foster inclusion and community integration, decrease isolation, build capacity, and encourage participants to realize their potential.

Selection Committee’s Goals:

  • Review written project proposals and score them based on the needs of the community
  • Meet with a committee of peers to discuss proposals (on 3 consecutive Wednesday afternoons)
  • Recommend which proposals should receive funding
